West Windsor Archers is one of Berkshire's
leading archery clubs. Our home ground is Dedworth Middle School,
on the outskirts of Windsor, Berkshire.
Our members are drawn from a mixture of
ages, sexes and abilities who between them shoot recurve, longbow
and compound bows. We also practice and compete at varying levels
across three disciplines: target, clout and field archery. We have coaches, assistant coaches and archery leaders and strong senior
and junior clubs.
During the outdoor season from the end
of March until mid-October, our official club night is Wednesday,
plus we have practice nights on Mondays and Fridays and club competitions
on Sundays. During the indoor season we shoot indoors on Friday evenings
and some Sunday mornings. Chilly Frostbite rounds are shot on most
Sunday afternoons. We even have an outdoor 'Soup Shoot'
New Year's morning!
Shooting throughout the
year

We're a hardy bunch and
can be found most weekends
shooting outside, come rain, wind, sleet, snow, and even sun occasionally!
